Our story is about a couple who met in Brazil and have since traveled around the world is search of the best beach destinations. We decided to bring the best experiences from our adventures back to Delaware where we are continuously improving our accommodations to turn vacation property hosting into something more … into a world-class experience.
We think that a great vacation is not just about the destination, but also about the journey through good times, loved ones and memories: spending time at the beach, biking around, having a fantastic meal, and admiring beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Our recipe is simple, make our Casa/house your Casa/your home for your entire stay with us.

Oi! I'm Emma
My family and friends call me Manu.
I'm originally from Brazil, Rio, Rio de Janeiro. Now home is here in Delaware. Back in Brazil, I dreamed of developing a Farm-to-Table Accommodation and my retirement plan was to own a Bed and Breakfast on Ilha Grande Island.
In 2016, Ryan convinced me to rent a bedroom in our Casa in Brooklyn, NY so I could have some income while I was waiting for my Green Card to be finalized. This turned into an amazing experience and I met people from around to world, some of whom are some of my best friends to this day! After this initial success, we then said to ourselves, “Let's try to rent our house in South Bethany!” The next thing we knew, the Summer was entirely booked, and therein I found a new purpose in life: hosting guests and enabling them to create great moments of people, life, and the beaches we love.
In Brazil, we say Home is where your Heart is. Your family, roots, memories. Casa means Home in Portuguese. Welcome to Casa Delaware, where we hope you will experience all of this and so much more! Bem Vindos à Casa Delaware!

Hello! I'm Ryan
Most people just call me Ryan :)
I was born in San Diego, CA, the son of a Naval Officer. Since that time, I have spent the majority of my life in and around the ocean.
I grew up in Central Pennsylvania and some of my earliest/fondness memroies are from the Delaware Shore. In 2004 I found myself in the unique situation of being quasi-based in New York City but travelling the country as a management consultant. After conducting and exhaustive search up and down the Eastern Seaboard, I decided to buy a house in South Bethany Beach to call home.
The only problem with this move is that for the next 15 years my work took me around the world and I wasn’t able to spend much time at “home.” But after being fortunate enough to find the love of my life in Rio de Janeiro, I am now thrilled to be living in Rehoboth Beach fulltime and providing extraordinary beach experiences for our guests.
