6 Breakfast Places (Brunch) in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

Delaware is famous for beaches, but it is also known for having good restaurants, which include great places for breakfast, or brunch in Rehoboth Beach.

There are a variety of options and styles of restaurants that in summer attract families and groups of friends. Some restaurants are also open during low season (after Labor Day, the first Monday in September, until Memorial Day, the last Monday in May), so if you plan on visiting the region outside of the summer season, you'll still find great options.

The menus vary between restaurants, but there are options that are repeated, such as crab, avocado toast, and eggs Benedict. Particularly I love these options! Mainly that the region is famous for Crab! But there are also the famous traditional American breakfast pancakes and crepes!

6 Breakfast Places (Brunch) in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

Egg

Located on Rehoboth Ave, with Canal Street, if you are coming by car, you can park on Canal Street with the Parking Pass (from May to September). If you don't have a Parking pass, you will find parking with parking meters in the Rehoboth Ave.

During summer season, Egg does not accept reservations for Breakfast. First come, first served. And the opening hours are from 07:00 in the morning until 13:00.

Restaurant Egg has a family atmosphere and is pet friendly (outside). The entire menu is delicious, but my favorite breakfasts are Avocado Crab Toast, Egg Burger, and Eggs Benedict (whatever). I can't forget to mention Egg's drinks: Old Fashion, Mimosa, and Blud Merry (if you like a drink a little spicy).

If the waiting list is too long, it's worth waiting at the Rise Up bar (read below) until your turn arrives.

The Pines

The Pines is a relatively new restaurant in Rehoboth Beach, the building was recently renovated and has a great structure, which serves all meals including breakfast. It has internal spaces but also a balcony.

The Pines is located in the heart of Rehoboth Beach on Baltimore Avenue, which offers metered parking on both sides of the avenue. If you have a Parking Pass, you can park on the back street of Maryland Ave, Olive St, or Oke Street. One of these will certainly have some free spots for your car.

The Pines accepts reservations for breakfast, and for Sunday Brunch which features a special Drag Queen show. If you plan to visit Rehoboth Beach in high season, book ahead to secure your spot.

As my options, I cannot fail to highlight the Deviled Eggs, which are fresh and very tasty, French toast.

Port 251

Opened in 2020, Port 251 offers an ever-updating tapas-style menu and delicious drinks, also served for breakfast! It is an invitation to taste a drink with every meal.

The location is privileged, at 251 Rehoboth Avenue, with private parking.

The atmosphere is relaxed, cool, and lively. Even on Sundays, there is a special Brunch with a Dreg Queen show. It's a real carnival in the middle of Delaware! If you want to have this experience, I recommend booking in advance.

The menu is always updated. But I can't stop talking about the Fritada, the Grab Burger! To drink, I love the Summer Gimlet (Gin, Elderflower, simple syrup, Fresh lime, cucumber, muddled mint, and soda).

Acqua

From Breakfast to Happy Hour (I'll talk about Happy Hour in the next post), Acqua has excellent service, and a relaxed atmosphere, with tables both indoors and on the patio. And since 2020 they have put up tents with heaters for days with lower temperatures.

Acqua is located in downtown Rehoboth, right across from The Pines! Easy to sit outside on the patio and have some nice drinks with friends.

As a suggestion of what to eat for breakfast, I'm going to my favorites: Eggs Benedicts, and the eggs that come in a very hot iron pan, with goat cheese on top! It's delicious!

Rise up

Rise Up is a surprise! Because in addition to a cafeteria, there is a bar inside (!!) that opens until 3 pm and has wonderful drinks! It has a cozy decor with tables, sofas, and wi-fi. In other words, it attracts a lot of people who stay there working for a few hours. In addition, it has a very charming courtyard.

The location is great, on Rehoboth Avenue, close to the roundabout and with a customer parking lot. If the car park is full in high season, you can park on Grove Street. Always remember that in high season it is necessary to have a parking permit, so as not to receive a ticket or have the car towed.

You can buy coffee, but you can also buy beans or powder to make coffee at home! In addition, there is a mini pastry shop with sweets, as well as some flags with ready-to-eat food.

Lori's Cafe

Loris Café, have a traditional American menu and also has one of the most famous cafes in the city of Rehoboth!

It is located in a mini-mall on Baltimore Ave, and you can sit at one of the available tables. On rainy days, it might not be the best place to sit and eat, but it's still a good option for take-out (take it home or eat somewhere else covered). For coffee lovers, it is one of the top-rated places in the region. From food, you can find traditional American cuisine. It's worth a try.

Starboard

Despite being located in Dewey Beach, it is included in the list for having a different atmosphere from previous restaurants and for being very close to Rehoboth Beach.

Dewey Beach attracts younger people willing to party. And Starboard not only offers fun for the younger crowd, but it also attracts local, more mature audiences, and families. It's all about the strategic location on Route 1 (southbound), a menu with American cuisine that attracts all types of people.

The service is fast, the drinks are refreshing, and there are different environments to meet the needs of the group. Not to mention that there are games for children, not only those little machines but also sheets for children to draw and paint.

I hope it helped you plan your trip to the Delaware beaches area! Any questions leave your comment here or send a DM to @casadelaware.
